I am in two minds as to whether to reply. I do think this thread has gone past its usefulness. But since you ask. . . Yes, I do like to be direct, yes I am a Celt, yes I do have a sense of humour, yes I do care about what happens to people, and having had three close friends die of AIDS, there are nevertheless some things I find unfunny. Like AIDS jokes. Goodbye and God bless, one and all. My intention was to find the truth, not to make jokes, to offend, or to - God help us all - appear tabloid.
