a word of caution - there are TWO versions of the BRIGHT PHOEBUS
reissue release from DOMINO RECORDS:
a single CD reissue of the album
a 2-cd "deluxe" package containing the reissue, plus a cd of
demos, and 24pp booklet with song lyrics and notes by Pete Paphides
discussing the Watersons, genesis of the album, recording sessions, song notes, and critical response. Don't know if the booklet is included with the single disc release.
Notes make no mention of the arrangement by which Domino obtained
the master tapes. This would be nice to know, and if any other
LEADER/TRAILER material may be forthcoming from Domino.
