Thread Name: 60's group, The Rose Garden
Subject: 60's group, The Rose Garden
The 1960's group The Rose Garden had a big hit with their song,
"Next Plane to London" (big hit in USA anyway & a song that I really liked a lot.)
On their LP from 1968 self titled just called, The Rose Garden they covered a Dylan song, "She Belongs To Me" and two songs by The Byrds member Gene Clark called, "Till Today" and "Long Time."

I was curious if this group was considered folk/rock (at the time of this album) or more just a 60's pop group?
I know they weren't considered a folk group but just wondering what others familiar with this band considered what their music genre mostly fell under? I know sometimes it is hard to categorize some band's music - but just generally speaking would like to hear from others who knew and familiar with the group, The Rose Garden.
What became of this band after their big hit song?
