I was thinkin of "thin" top for flexability, probably try a few difrnt tops... sheet metal/ or birch...thanx... i'm serious, dunno why... this "one string" bass just speaks to me. i dig it... tuck the pole between my left shoulder and neck, to pluck with 2 hands, leaning back-n-forth for notes... i'm gettin pretty good at it... just startin with a "bow"... and thats a whole difrnt realm.
