Aside from the “royal we” there, which is very amusing, not to say ironic, I’d just say that I enjoy reading well-constructed English no matter which side of the Atlantic it emanates from. Spellcheckers have a habit of sneaking in rogue apostrophes which may elude the final editing, especially if done on a phone, and that’s excusable. What’s more annoying is densely-constructed English with rambling, unfocused sentences and dodgy, inconsistent grammar that impolitely forces the reader to do too much mental processing.
