The water trickling, then streaming out of the yard was on my side of the water service instead of the water company's side. So I "got" to pay for the repairs. No new car this year. Or next. Or the year after that. It was quite an adventure. Learnt a lot about construction practices over the decades including but not limited to materials, work ethic, and building codes. The good news?

It was an adventure. No one died. No one went to jail. No houses were burned, flooded, blown away. So the good news is that I won't need any service pipe again for 40 years, by which time, WFC?, cause I'll likely be somewhere other than in this life. And that pork chop for dinner was the best! So yeah, good news!
