I certainly agree with pick songs YOU enjoy (if yOU enjoy it they will) and know well, also slow down don't panic, audiences really want to see a performer comfortable in their skin. also try to enjoy yourself and connect with the audience, making them laugh was always my strength i.e it cured my nerves and made things MUCH more relaxed.And remember you've graduated from Folk Clubs so you must be pretty good to have done that.
