I had a 000-28 but it was a 1928 OM model. I lost it though trying to do business with a rather unscrupulous dealer in used instruments whose name need not be mentioned here. It was undoubtedly the best sounding instument I've ever owned or may ever own. Again a very difficult one to find in any condition. This one was in excellent original condition when I found it. Of course I can always hope for another to come my way in like condition but I suspect it was a once in a lifetime kind of find. My efforts at creating music have not rewarded me with an unlimited amount of cashola with which to shop for another but one never knows what can be found while haunting garage sales, swapmeets and the like.

I've enjoyed making my own frankenstinian monstrosities of late as well. reg
