Samantha the Panther she couldn’t be bothered to move
She said, ‘if I ran through the jungle, now what would that prove?’


Samantha the panther was having a wonderful dream
She dreamt of a party and cakes that were covered in cream
And then she woke up with a jump and she said, ‘goodness me
It’s my birthday on Friday, I wonder what day this can be?’

Samantha the panther ...
...        Monday when I flew over France,
It’s Thursday tomorrow...
I promised my friends I would meet them in Nice

Samantha the panther was happy, she’d found out at last
She felt very tired because she’d been running so fast
And after a long drink of milk from a coconut cup
She went back to sleep…. It was Saturday when she woke up!
