I wish you well on this quest! I was a bit surprised to see Vandy, Vandy in the list at the beginning of the post (I think you've gone beyond your base question of humorous songs *g*), and nothing I have is as old as you'd wish, but I can perhaps help with the "Manley from NC" entry. "Vandy, Vandy" is a short story by Manley Wade Wellman, first published in the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, then anthologized in the collection Who Fears the Devil, published by Arkham House in 1963, then in paperback by Ballantine in 1967 or thereabouts. The song is probably traditional, but no citations were given anywhere that I've seen so far. Bob Coltman put it on his 1973 album "Lonesome Robin", and may have made the tune. He guests on Mudcat, and I imagine there are other social media ways to ask him. Robin and Linda Williams put it on their 1978 album "Welcome Table" with the same tune as Bob. I hope this helps.
