Snow White and the Seven Dwarves were busily decking the hall for Christmas. The help of the Christmas Fairy was disdained; however when the Christmas Tree was delivered the Fairy dragged it in and asked Grumpy where she should put it.
That is why ever after the Fairy is always on the top of the tree.
