This month, Senator McCain is laying low,
while the other congressmen phone him and then
tell the news media that they phoned McCain just to make sure
that he's still holding his own.

Hopefully that means he learned something
about when to stand up to be counted
and when to hang in there treating the side effects of his treatment.

And I hope he is still alive next year maybe.
