I just gave my Freshman Open Plains to my grand niece for Christmas.

I bought it cos I fell in love with the neck - I found I could do a slide I was struggling with. After a few weeks I could play it on any guitar - so the love ar first feel cooled down.

It was a nice enough guitar.

I only made one cd, and I feel that the quality was slightly compromised because I wasn't playing a solid wood guitar. I didn't want to repeat the experience, so the Freshman got the elbow.
