So, what you seem to be saying is that the only way to attract these companies is to turn a blind eye to their tax avoidance? Do we really want to encourage a culture where big companies feel that they should not contribute anything to the countries in which they make vast profits? I don't! This greed culture has generated vast inequalities and it should not be allowed to continue unchecked. A number of large companies and very wealthy people are beginning to see it as well.
