Fwiw, I have sung "Everyone We Say Goodbye" in folk clubs. I pick rather than strum the accompaniment so that it sounds 'folkie'. It's one of my all-time favourite songs. Beautifully crafted by the Master. It was written for a show that flopped however it became popular during WW2 when soldiers were leaving home.
