Trying for the 5th or 6th time to learn "The Setting" (an Irish emigration song I heard by The House Band). Can't seem to get it to performance quality and don't know why....

It's not particularly sophisticated or technically difficult but it just won't get there. Does this happen to everyone? (I hope so ..It hapens all too often to me).Nice thread.
