I was tempted to post this in music as the incidental music is very fitting for a folk forum but I prefer for this to be about his films.
I have just watched 'The Secret of Kells' and the 'Song of the Sea'. Both marvelous animations by this young (well, compared to me 41 is young) Irish director. The animation is almost childlike in style and the stories involve lots of Irish folklore as well as the afore mentioned music. I am hooked!
