Well, shades of Ontario The Good! Most pubs are open to all ages, anyway; the acid test is whether they serve enough food to be considered an eating and drinking establishment. The serious BAR places, I don't know why, but you would have to ask the LCBO.FWIW, I think those are the places you want to play.
I remember the weird old days of liquor laws: no Sundays, you couldn't carry your glass of beer from one table to another (if you wanted to change tables, you were supposed to call the waiter to move your beer), separate entrances for "Ladies & Escorts" and "Men", sometimes to the same room.
Then, there's a lot I don't remember...
