Now, I've slept in 35 degrees of heat at night (it can be 40 or more during the day) with almost maximum humidity, in Africa. Do NOT use air conditioning (not an option for me, as there wasn't even any electricity) After a couple of nights sweating like a pig, the body acclimatises. Air con is the Devil's own invention.

Wouldn't icy cold water bottles get a lot of condensation on them? One would wake up soaked to the skin!
