I was lucky. At the time I was only 20 so I was able to drag myself to the toilet and Kitchen. We had a couple of vacuum flasks so I made hot tea and tucked on under my bed to save me keep getting up.
As I said I was also lucky to have the nurse to look after me. You will know from your experience just how much it meant to not being alone. I have to say the the RAF were excellent and helped me to recover from this Asian Flu.
