A chap from the Bristol area yesterday posted his photo next to that of the image of the dark-skinned, blue-eyed man, and the resemblance was astonishing. (It was on Yahoo) His family and friends were all taking the Mickey; he'll never live it down!

I'm still thrilled with the idea of the 'Black Irish' who had/have very blue eyes and very dark skin. My mother was one such. Her hair was absolutely jet black too. Is there any connection do you think?
