Thanks, Gene, but sound card will not permit. And I am hearing it fine in my head today. I have a lovely, slidy-slurring fiddle part coming out as I whistle. (Slower than Doc, too, I think... a stately dance tune, people in old-fashioned dresses and cowboy dresswear.... I dunno if that fiddle part's on the recording or just in my head!) But I will visit there when I get the new computer for sure.

Jeepman-- I bet you DO have musical ability. I believe everyone does, but that some have been taught they don't, because they don't have the "right" kind. I like to help people find what kind they do have. I'd love to jam sometime. Maybe you just aren't wired for solo? Anyway, if you ever make a tape, I would love to hear these songs that you care about so much. I'm already wondering what the next one will be!
