Thread Name: Irish Session in Toronto
Subject: Irish Session in Toronto
I ventured into Hogtown yesterday to an Irish Session that my sister had heard about. It runs every Sunday @ 4:00 P.M. at Dora Keogh's on the Danforth (About five doors west of the Danforth Music Hall). I enjoyed it very much. There were a number of fiddles, tenor banjos, a couple of flutes, pennywhistles and later in the session a woman came in with a full sized harp. It was all Trad. It seemed quite relaxed, no mikes, just a section reserved for players in the back of the pub. I live in Whitby so I can't see myself becoming a regular, but I can see myself going back from whenever possible.

Had a nice visit with the Fieldings too.
