If language didnt change to fit changing needs-the need for new words, or new grammatical constructions, etc.- then we'd all be speaking Proto-indoeuropean.Now, if thats what you want, then thats your choice. I, on the other hand, believe that dropping useless forms of words, simplifying verbs, and living your language is a good thing.
