He was also refused a floor spot[ according to folklore] at Catford by Dave Cooper, maybe Paul S didnt fit what the club liked, which i think was trad songs, imo Paul Simon is a ,bit over rated, his popularity imo owes alot to Garfunkels harmony singing and their duo work which is good pop music, but not tradtional folk.
