When I get fed up with local potholes I log them with

They send it on to the local authority.
Then the local authority sends me a confirmation email.

It's much easier to use than the Cheshire East website.

I hear some authorities won't bother if the hole is less than 40mm. For CheshireEast it's 50mm.
