I didn't know Ian Tyson wrote it. I have only heard the version cover by Anne Hills. I used to have that album at one time but with many moves over the years, I don't have it now so listen to it on Youtube. Not sure the reason it starts with "The Water is Wide" and goes right into "Wild Geese".
