At first I was indignant at the public criticism
of these teenaged survivors of school shootings.

Then the old truism occurred to me:
it shows what a threat they pose to the status quo, powers that be, what have you.

Was it not an old Roman-Empire saying:
Name me your enemies
and I will tell you who you are.
