What kind of hummingbirds do you get in Colorado, Rapparee?
Are they the kind that look like LasVegas showgirls in sequins?
(the garish splash of color at the throat, the show-off acrobatics)
or are they the plainer-plumaged hummers that don't show up much
in the eastern US?

I saw some of the latter in New Mexico.
