Former first lady Barbara Bush died. Someone in the Trump White House evidently saw the press release of condolence from President and First Lady Obama on Twitter and made a similar statement, photographed it and sent it to Trump. I'm sure the conversation was "You need to tweet this. And include Melania in the message."
