DBW, It is probably your own settings causing the problem. To quote from some advice Alison gave in another thread:

if you are having trouble with sound.. open paltalk... open "groups".. select "paltalk help groups" and go into one of the "new user lobbys"...... they will be able to help you online by listening to you.....
