Raedwulf, I don't know where you are, but there is a very good
Beginners Folk Harp at Haliburton Summer School of the Arts in central Ontario - cottage country. It's for 5 days and I've known people go on it with very little knowledge of music, let alone harp. You don't even have to have a harp; there are rentals available.

And there's a Beginners II course as well, earlier on.

Lovely spot to spend a few days.
