Are they making war against mosquitoes, or against people from Moustique, one of the islands of Barbados?

I thought Ste Catherine was the subway station where the good-time girls hung out, warming their busy thighs over the gratings between customers, but perhaps I'm wrong there?
'Complainte' in French means a lament. I had another question - about the meaning of 'moustiques' in the song - but I'll ask on the writers' website.
