So sure, there are contradictory statements, but no clear case for the accusations made by the earlier sources whom Jim quotes. What I do not know of course is whether the song marked as scurrilous and defamatory by the BBC really does repeat those unproven, and indeed scurrilous and defamatory if they are false, accusations.
