87th sonnet to my muse...

Sonnet 24/05/18                        MCLXVII

Muse might mean more to me than she desires,
But I cannot choose to not hope for all
That dream may share. I can limits recall,
Yet heart finds cause to think of muse as one
Who has a brighter light in eyes than sun
Shines down on me. How can heart keep away
From longing to forever with muse stay,
Or not to dream of one who gives verse fires?
Should I from all of dreams my heart recuse,
That I might less than love? Would I succeed?
I do not think I’ve chance to angel hold,
But care too much for one I find is muse:
How can I not want to keep what I need?
Without dream of this muse, my thoughts are cold.
