I don't think Kevin is trying to win an argument. I think he and I would agree that there are two different points of view, each of them valid. It's not a matter of one being right and one being wrong. I don't know how the two can be reconciled.

Since that's the case, I think the decision has to be made by the woman who is pregnant because she is the one who is affected most directly - but I understand and sympathize with those who oppose abortion because they view it as killing a life. I suppose that means that both sides will vehemently disagree with me and call me awful things.

I don't think anyone can say definitively when life begins. It's a matter of opinion, and a variety of opinions can be valid.
