Now that the Boston fans have calmed down,
the ones with longer memories
are recalling days of yore
when the NBA playoffs matched the long-ago Celtics with the L A Lakers.

And there was some high-pitched yammering from the sportscaster
on the local news station this morning,
remarking that some kind of record is being set
by the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors,
about how many playoffs in a row have come down to those two teams.
