In truth - they've done some decent guitars over the years. I'm not a big fan of the later model's transducer systems. too bleeding clever by half.

The transacoustic model is of interest to folk players. It has something called an actuator fitted.

What this means is that in effect you will be able to go to all these mouldy fig folk clubs , where they look askance at amps , footpedals, PA systems. Take out a an acoustic guitar (okay probably lost some of them at that point) and enhance your guitar sound with chorus and delay without any other equipment.

The current issue of acoustic says they're basically a three hundred quid yam , with the other three hundred going on this actuator thing.

I haven't seen one, much less tried one. I wondered if anyone had.
