Mother Nature By Alexander Martin The sun is slowly rising from the shoreline

the morning mist has vanished with the dew

the early bird is seeking out her meal time

a swan she swooped above me as she flew

through the sky, through the sky



The kingfisher dives into the water

rising with it's prey between it's beak

and witnessing a feat of mother nature

a sense of feeling free comes over me

and I breathe, a deep breath, a deep breath



A haze from closing in from the horizon

the tide was moving out to form a beach

and realizing that I wasn't dreaming

I reached out as far as I could reach

to the sky, then I sigh



You know man has lost his way and acting crazy

he thinks the planet just belongs to him

he's killing off a beautiful creation

and mother nature's struggling to win

where does it end, does it end, does it end



Don't wait around for mother nature to come asking for help, from you

we gotta stand for her rights & her point of view



The sun is going down creating darkness

the moon is creeping up beyond the hill

the wind is blowing north across the skyline

the Owl she just sit's there very still

and I think, to myself



That if one day somehow I lose my freedom

or if one day I die before my time

I hope the world can find some decorum

and leave Mother nature in her prime

to be free, to be free, to be free, free



Oh mother nature your beauty is calling me

you filled our planet with beautiful things to see.
