Interested to read that you live near Branscombe, Rob. I was there in the early fifties, camping in a field with the Girl Guides (and several rather smelly and nosey sheep) I seem to remember there was a steep cliff path down to the shore, and some donkeys which carried our equipment (and us!)
We visited Beer and Seaton, and I was enchanted by the magical area (always was a country girl at heart)
Gosh, that was nearly seventy years ago!
