Thread Name: BS: Too many Taverns?
Subject: RE: BS: Too many Taverns?
OK, guys, at the risk of throwing one more opinion onto the fire I'm gonna add my two bits.

From reading this thread I see that there are two problems here.
1) there is a diffence in opinion as to how many rooms there should be and whether it/they should be open or closed, and
2) confusion as to what to name the thread saying that the room is open.

I'm not going to comment on the first situation but would like to address the second.
I don't see that it matters what the room in Paltalk is called - what matters is the name of the thread announcing that the room is open. The confusion is caused when people see a thread that says "Mudcat Tavern" and think that it's a community fiction thread when it is actually an announcement of Paltalk, or vice-versa. Yes?
So my suggestion for a compromise is to leave the name of the room alone, but when starting the thread to announce that the room is open don't use the word "Tavern." Inside the message posted to the thread give the specific name of the room. This way no one will be mislead by the title of the thread in the list, but you can still keep the name on the room.

(and now to close the sale)
Is this an agreeable solution to those parties involved?
