Only history written by living historians in the last 30 years in books on the shelves of reputable bookshops, presumably. Geoffrey Wheatcroft will supply a list of valid ones if we ask him nicely. We don't want none of them vulgar, fraudulent buggers involved, do we?

I prefer a more interventionist approach than waiting for "history" to decide. We can't afford to do that.
