First things first, any server running Unix will not without destroying the Drive/s be made NOT to log activity, so annonymity however well advertised does not exist.

Second, any email can be traced these days even from so called anonymous accounts, aol, msn, hotmail and so on.

Third even if a person used a Public Terminal, likely these days, they would still be 'logged' by the provider.

In effect the only way to do this kind of silly emailing is via remote highlevel hacking, A Hack to Phone line, B Hack to server and so on.

Those kids in the UK would be in Jail for a very long time if they were in the USA, in fact knowing how the Law Agencies work here, I would not be suprised if after a suitable lull in Jail they both met accidental and sticky ends. That is the reality of the 'New' right in the USA. Very violent very cruel very into accomodating MONEY even if narcotics profits etc. The nearest thing there is would be South America - probably Columbia.
