t is odd he ran out of air because supposedly he was one of the ones carrying in the air tanks. Don't know what happened.

He was on the return journey, but it does not explain how he could run out of air without taking action. It has been suggested that he collapsed from exhaustion. It is a stark reminder of how difficult it will be to get child non-divers out that way.
