The Bold Benjamin is a great song and I'm surprised it's not more popular. I've adapted two verses from the longer ballad to make the traditional version a bit longer because I enjoy singing it so much. I'm planning on including the song on my forthcoming CD of sea shanties and sea songs (shameless plug).
