For the last two weeks, it's been about 100^o fahrenheit (37.7^o C) here in the Sierra foothills of California. We have a couple of window air conditioners, no central cooling. Our big black Labrador and I camp out in my office by the air conditioner, and it helps. But the rest of the house is very warm, and outside is hell.
