It is not my problem if others do not do so but, even if they do, they will see that he actually says "The overwhelming opportunity for Brexit is over the next 50 years.” Which is political speak for "I don't have a clue what is going to happen but if we wait for 50 years we may or may not see some improvement."

Strange. I read that same line as meaning that we will see benefits over the coming 50 years, not that it will take 50 years for us to see any benefit.
But it is good to see that you are willing to discuss the comments actually made, rather than just to post the totally misleading headline.
