Dear Bettina Brentano, ‘ToadFrog’, ‘Acme’, Chuck Reinsch, David, Mark Sten, Ron Woodruff, Ricardo, Tate, Frank S, WhistlingHen, Bugsy, OzMacka, T Smythe, GP Los Angeles, Robin Shaylor, Ebbie, Stewie, Rt Revd Sir John from Hull, Deckman, Miken, 53, Roger in Sheffield, and others:

I am trying to reach people who may have personal recordings of the work of Mike Russo of Portland, Oregon. I’m trying to create a retrospective of his work for us, his family, and for those who knew him and those who enjoyed his musicianship. I’d appreciate anything, including photos, posters, and recordings made where he played with others. I will gratefully digitize any materials and return all items, of course. I will send my finished digitized archive to any who send me anything. Any memorabilia and personal reminiscences that you can write down or record would also be gratefully accepted. Gossip, too!

I will be calling or emailing those of you who have provided that information on this site, especially you, Bettina! Mike loved your father and greatly mourned his loss.

I can be reached at (503) 380-5642, and EMAIL redheadinator@gmail.com and address: 4207 SE Woodstock Blvd., No. 506 Portland, Oregon 97206. Should you call, please leave me a clear voicemail message and, while life is especially chaotic right now, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I’m sending out this request to any that are likely to have information on him. If you have any other contact suggestions I’d greatly appreciate it. And yes, he’s still alive at age 80.

Sincerely - his daughter, Judith Russo
