A propos of very little ...

This weekend saw the annual Cruinniú na mBád festival of traditional workboats here in my adopted home of Kinvara in the West of Ireland. On Sunday morning, as ever, there was an open air sung Mass followed by Blessing of the Boats. That Mass is in the Irish language, includes both solo and choral singing - and is broadcast on either national Irish language radio or, as this year, a local FM station. An avowed agnostic of (very) long standing, I am nonetheless very happy to join that choir and sing my heart out...
