Thread Name: MacIntosh program
Subject: RE: MacIntosh program
Unfortunately MMario I looked for the keyboard last night and I think my youngest daughter took it over to Vancouver with her because I can't find it. I will see if she can bring it back for awhile and see what I can do. Although it may be a mute point, the keyboard only has an audio output. Although I could make an attempt at writing the notation out by hand and emailing them.

We have a Finale Programme that my daughter used to use on the old Mac but its not compatible with the current system and we have been promised a Sibelius programme from a friend, but its been a long time coming. In either case, neither would probably be of much use to me for quite some time, I am a bit of a clutz when it comes to computers and it's my eldest daughter who's the music major. I can sometimes figure stuff out on my own, but it often takes a very long time and the occasional hand holding.

I checked out Barfly, but because of my ignorance regarding Midis, I had trouble making the leap on some of the terminology, etc. Too bad, I guess its back to the drawing board. SoundJam and mp3s seemed such an easy solution to pass on tunes, especially, since I thought only the melody would be required and I assumed the file would be very small.
